Lanzarote

This was an extra little holiday we squeezed in to our year in 2015. We already had a holiday booked, but both felt we desperately needed just a bit of alone time together. Just the two of us.

Our budget was small, so we booked via one of those low-cost holiday websites. All-inclusive jobby. 3 star hotel, no frills. We stayed at the Diver Hotel in Costa Teguise, which admittedly, did look tired, but it was clean, functional, it had everything we needed and the staff were really nice. Couldn’t fault it for what we had paid.

We took next to no spending money, just a few euros for ice creams and postcards (which we sent, but never arrived!) and we spent our days walking along the seafront, down in to Costa Teguise, round and back again. We spent hours sat on the seafront, watching the waves, just relaxing and chatting, warm sea breeze on our faces. I’m pretty obsessed by the sea and find the waves hypnotic. Such beauty. It was perfect and just what we needed.

Although we didn’t go on any big excursions or spend lots of money, Lanzarote is actually one of my favorite Team Wragg Adventures. Restful, peaceful and calm. Just my husband and I and nothing else.

With much love,
